Bantry Town Council would like to welcome you to Bantry and hope you enjoy your stay.

The Town Council has nine members who are elected by the town's residents every five years. The members elect a mayor and deputy mayor annually.
The Current mayor is Cllr. John Connoly.

The members of the Town Council are:

• Aidan McCarthy.

The council meets monthly to at the Co Council offices on Wolfe Tone Square to discuss issues relating to the town and its residents.
