Coomanore South Equestrian Centre
Coomanore South Equestrian Center is a friendly family run yard in the beautiful Mealagh Valley. Offering a bespoke livery service, to suit all needs whether you’re a happy hacker or a serious competition rider.
Facilities include; indoor school, outdoor school, cross country course, horse walker, all year turnout, working equitation course, secure tack room and gated yard, foaling box with camera and beautiful off road hacking, with access to a lake if you fancy taking your horse for a swim.
Clinics run throughout the year focusing on in hand work, liberty and trick training, connection training, classical dressage and pole work with guest coaches from the UK and Spain. Indoor school and cross country are also available for private hire to visitors.

West Cork Chevals
West Cork Chevals bring together horse riders and trap drivers to undertake measured road journeys through the most scenic routes in the Bantry area and wider West Cork region, raising money for local charities and schools.
Stopping off for refreshments at various points along the route, children can mix and take photographs with the horses in the company of family and friends while safe oversight is maintained by dedicated ride and road stewards.
